Why Ann is different
When Ann was five years old, she suddenly started to stutter. A child who loved words, and suddenly those words wouldn't come naturally. What did work was singing.
Years later she became an actress. She played roles, characters, other people's stories. But when she brought her own vulnerability onto a stage, something happened that changed her perspective entirely.
After a show, people came up to her, not to say how beautifully she spoke, but to say: "I recognised myself in your story."
“Our greatest vulnerabilities are often also our greatest strengths.”
The speaker
Ann Esch combines more than twenty years of stage experience as an actress with a deep background as a drama therapist and NLP coach. She worked four years as a therapist in a psychiatric institution for young people and then supported people for more than 17 years around mental and emotional blocks.
That combination makes her unique as a speaker: she knows how to reach an audience, technically and humanly. She reads a room, senses where the energy is and adapts her story organically.
No read-aloud speech. No standard presentation. Every time, a living, breathing conversation with the audience.

Signature keynote
How do you speak in a way that makes people not just listen, but feel, remember and be moved to action?
In this interactive keynote, Ann weaves storytelling, personal experiences and practical insights into an inspiring experience that resonates long after.
Not a theoretical lecture, but an invitation to reconnect with your own voice, your story and the impact you can make when you dare to share it.
Through four essential pillars, you'll discover how to create more impact without speaking louder, appearing bigger or playing a role.
Because people rarely remember your words — but they do remember how you made them feel and the story you took them on.
Mindset
Dare to take your place. Your message deserves to be heard.
Storytelling
Our brains remember stories, not bullet points. Learn to turn your ideas into stories that stick.
Body language
Before your first word, the audience already feels how you stand there. Presence is not a talent, it's a choice.
Voice & pace
Pauses, breathing, variation. Silence is often more powerful than one more sentence.
This keynote did more than inspire. It made me think about how I live, how I communicate and what stories I tell myself. Rarely have I encountered someone who combines such depth, warmth and impact.A. Spaanderman
